  2. spanxI received my Higher Power Spanx on a perfect morning as I was off to the Godiva Business Awards on that night. After stuffing myself with food before I went, I was hoping I could conceal my little podge showing as I needed to try and squeeze myself into my tight black cocktail dress!

The first thing I noticed when putting my High Waisted Power Panty on is that they felt comfortable and the band around the top made them stay up perfectly. The body shaping control offers perfect smoothing support and eradicates problems of VPL or the leg band showing as you can hardly notice the seam.

So after donning my Spanx and putting my dress on I was ready to go. I felt slimmer throughout the whole waistline and didn't even notice them when I was sitting down or standing. The big thing for me that I was worried about was that I didn't feel I had to keep pulling them up as they were just staying in place.

Mother nature called but instead of having to dance around the cubicle trying to get them up and down the double gusset opens to make it so much easier. Next stage was trying to manoevre on the dance floor, which was so much easier then I thought it was going to be. I could move around freely and easily without worrying about a thing.

Great product and would definately use again for a good occasion. Comfortable, easy to wash and packaging cool. As stated on the packaging ... don't worry we've got your butt covered! Love it!

  3. lilas partyI had spoken to Nikki the owner of Lila's Party a few times over email and was really pleased when she asked me to review some of her new products.
A few days later arriving in the post was a lovely package all wrapped up in gorgeous tissue paper and a purple ribbon with a 'with love' tag and sparkles. I have always said that attention to detail with packaging is the key to making a product stand out and it also meant I couldn't want to find out what was inside!
The first range 'Beau Bear' is a well dressed teddy bear that can appear on birthday party, christening day and naming day invitations with a choice of a cute baby pink/baby blue bow-tie. Each invitation comes with a matching RSVP postcard to make it as easy as possible for your guests to reply.
What I really noticed was the quality of the card and even the envelopes are embossed with the bear image. The card also has standard printed information inside, so you only have to fill in the gaps. The printed bear balloon was also great quality and even the napkin was strong!
Coming onto Lila's Party newest range is the 'Freindship Fairy' designed when Nikki was organising a party for her own little girl. Her little girl loves dressing up so wanted to get working on a fairy/princess theme. The card is adorable. It is a little girl all dressed up holding a special, wooden friendship bracelet to give each guest to wear at the party... so so cute! I want one! Inside the card at the bottom reads 'as you are very special to me, Please wear your friendship bracelet for all to see!' Love it!
Again, each invitation comes with a matching RSVP postcard, and thank you cards are also available.
The quality and thought of these products from Lila's Party is impeccable. My daughter has only just had her birthday but for the next one I am definately ordering my products from here!
